The total length of the proposed road in 9.840 km and it was observed that in between Ch. 1/650 to 1/900 and 2/750 to 3/780 over a length of 1.280 km the area is water-logged and is susceptible for soil settlement. Hence to improve the soil stability, Geocells were proposed for WMM layer and geotextile sheet was proposed over subgrade in this stretch. Installation of geocells is currently in progress at site, which will provide adequate pavement stabilization by reducing the chances of soil settlement
